Explore Japanese calligraphy

The beginning of this project stemmed from my fascination with haiku.
I pondered how I could write my favorite haiku in my native language (Persian), drawing inspiration from the art of calligraphy and Japanese culture.
To achieve freedom of expression and capture the essence of writing in the style of calligraphy/Japanese, I used a brush and an Ecoline on Coated paper. The combination of these elements allowed me to write swiftly and focus more on form rather than the readability of my words.

Finally, with the help of an illustrator, I reworked them. Below, you'll see a haiku and two Persian words.
I hope you enjoy viewing this project as much as I enjoyed creating it
